Mapa

This screenshot shows the unit-level navigation for the DVD. The Mapa screen provides a "site map" style outline of the unit's organization and content. Color-coding on the Mapa screen shows the student her/his progress through the unit.

Historia

This screenshot depicts a scene from the Historia (an episode from the storyline). Each unit is organized around an episode. Subtitles in Spanish are accessible while viewing the Historia. Glossed entries are hyperlinked from the subtitles. The student can rewind and play back the Historia as many times as desired.

Vocabulario

This screenshot shows the Vocabulario from one unit. Specific vocabulary from the Historia (an episode from the storyline) is featured. The student can access an audio pronunciation of the featured words or phrases and see written examples of the words or phrases used in context. The Vocabulario is designed to help the student learn the key vocabulary used in the storyline and to recognize these words and phrases in context. However, it is not designed to function as a dictionary.
